WELCOME TO BEAR SPRING CAMPS!
The call of the loons on the lake – the sound of waves hitting the shore-
early morning fishermen going out into the misty water.
All this will be part of your vacation at Bear Spring Camps. Spend your day fishing, skiing, and swimming on our beautiful Great Pond, the largest of the Belgrade Lakes. Enjoy hiking, sightseeing in the local mountains or just sit on your front porch enjoying the scenery surrounding your camp that sits right by the water. Come enjoy our camp which is special to so many, a place where friendships span generations, memories last forever, and yet time seems to stand still.

Hello to all our Campers,
We all have been on the edge of our seats to see how Camp is going to work this year. Sadly, we are not going to be able to serve meals or take out with the regulations placed on us by the Governor and our own concerns for keeping our guests and staff safe. We will however be opening half of our cabins for rental. We cannot open all 32 due to regulations and to ensure we can properly sanitize them between guests. Cabins will not be rented in consecutive weeks, by different guests. We will be using the week in between to strip, launder and sanitize the unit for the next Saturday. We will be prioritizing 2 week reservations for guests that would still like to vacation in beautiful Maine and will take 1 week reservations pending availability. There will be new rates posted to our website that do not include meals.
Please note the 14 day quarantine rules are still in effect so this means once you arrive at camp you must stay at camp and follow social distance guidelines. You will still have use of the lake, boats and fishing as well as tennis with your own party, but you will need your own equipment. You should plan to bring in all grocery and supplies for your stay. We do have a few things planned to try and improve your stay in this different environment. We will be adding propane grills, microwaves and coffee makers to each cabin. We will have a variety of grocery items, beverages, meats, and produce available for purchase on hand that can be delivered to your cabin, as well as someone staffed to make regular town runs if you need something we don't have.
We understand this will cause some of you to be unable to keep your reservations so we will be sending back deposits to anyone affected or we can roll your reservation to 2021 if you like. If you do not plan to use a two week reservation please let us know so we can stagger in other reservations. If you have any questions please send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org or call us. We hope you all are staying safe and look forward to seeing many of you back at camp this summer.
